Linking Internet telephony to your CRM system

Do you have a telephony application on your desktop that you can use for outgoing calls (such as Skype) or a VoIP switchboard to make outgoing calls? Then you can activate the right settings in PerfectView and place a call by clicking on a phone number or on the telephone icon behind a phone number.
In order to recognise incoming calls based on the phone number in CRM (and to show a contact card, for example), you need to have a VoIP facility. The (im)possibilities are determined accordingly based on the brand/type of VoIP facility.
